El Olam  2 Day Dance, Mime, & Music Intensive - COVID Updates and Infection Protection Guidelines

Last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, El Olam 2 Day Dance, Mime, & Music Intensive was canceled.  A lot of Christian Arts ministries were forced to stop practicing and ministering.  As we the Christian Arts community prepares to return to taking classes, ministering during services, or attending conferences and events here are some guidelines that are in place so that you, our volunteers, facilitators, participants, and TCF Center staff and patrons are safe.   As restrictions are added or lifted, we will post notifications on our website as well as I (Yolanda Rountree), will post regular updates on social media platforms.Type your paragraph here.

El Olam Intensive & TCF Center Protocols

This year’s intensive will take place on July 9 and 10th.  We currently have a special registration rate of $50 until April 30.  Remember it is limited spacing so please get your registration in quickly.

It is important to know that COVID spreads mainly from person to person.  This can happen if a person coughs or sneezes, their droplets can affect nearby people.  We must remember that even children can get COVID and spread it to others.  Here are the measures you must follow to make sure we are keeping each other safe during our event.

  • All participants will receive a survey via email or a hard form that asks:
    • Have you been vaccinated?
    • If not, do you have a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the intensive?
    • Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days: sore throat, cough, chills, body aches for unknown reasons, shortness of breath for unknown reasons, loss of smell, loss of taste, fever at or greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
    • Have you or anyone in your household been tested for COVID-19 within the last 21 days?
    • To the best of your knowledge have you been or anyone in your household been in close proximity to any individual who tested positive for COVID-19 or experienced COVID-19 symptoms within the last 21 days?
